Sri Dharma Mittra is a disciple of Sri Swami Kailashananda and teacher of classical yoga since 1967. He has dedicated most of his life in service to humanity through the teachings of classical yoga, including postures, yoga ethics, and how to use yoga to live a balanced life. He was initiated as a sannyasi and was a celebrated teacher at his guru's ashram. He founded the Dharma Yoga Center in New York in 1975, and also completed the Master Yoga Chart of 908 Postures in 1984, after having photographed himself in 1300 yoga postures. This guide still serves as a reference to centers and ashrams around the world. He teaches yoga daily, and is Director of the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City.
